| The Huna Healing Center will be offering a complimentary 1/2 hour reiki healing for each $ 25.00 donation sent to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. The donation MUST be made through the St. Jude / Huna Healing Center page only. I will access your name when you call for the appointment which is offered 1 day a month. | Kiley's story: Kiley was a happy, healthy 9 month old baby girl. Even at this early stage of life, Kiley’s bubbly personality was evident. But one evening during dinner, Kiley’s mother noticed an unusual reflection in Kiley’s right eye. She immediately contacted a local optometrist, who found that not only was the retina in Kiley’s right eye detached, there was also something suspicious about her left eye. Alarmed, Kiley’s parents took her to an ophthalmologist the very next morning. There, Kiley underwent more extensive tests. Within days, the tests revealed heartbreaking news for any parent: There were tumors present in both of Kiley's eyes. The doctor suspected retinoblastoma, a type of cancer of the eye, and immediately referred Kiley and her family to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. |

Donovan's story:
Before Donovan was even born, his parents knew there was a strong possibility that he would suffer from
sickle cell disease, which is an inherited blood disorder that causes red blood cells to become hard and
sickle-shaped, instead of soft and round. Children and adults with the disease may experience symptoms
that range from severe pain to strokes, pneumonia, organ damage or even death.
